MEMORIES OF MOTHER
How well i do remember
standing at my mothers knee
and all the fun and happy times
as she was raising me.
How well i do remember
the love we always shared
and all the things she said and did
that showed she really cared.
How well i do remember
the day God called her home
she slipped into his loving arms
and i felt so alone.
Now my heart will carry memories
of the love she gave to me
until we meet again in heaven
where the best is yet to be.
I’ll always love you mom. thank you for teaching me how to be the best woman, wife, and mom i can possibly be.
